The Youth Safety Council of Vermont was formed in 2005 to

• promote and support youth safety programs, education, initiatives and studies;
• partner with youth safety experts and advocates to sustain and improve existing programs;
• increase public awareness of youth safety issues;
• support and conduction educational and informational activities and increase public awareness of youth safety issues.

Teen drivers need a “BRAKE”. That’s why the Youth Safety Council is proud to offer its “Teen Driver Essential Skills Training” conducted by Stevens Advanced Driver Training. The program is a hands-on supplemental driver training program that trains teens on the proper use of ABS brakes, demonstrates the dangers of tailgating, teaches proper backing-up techniques and develops skills for car control and crash avoidance. Our 2007 sessions are currently being conducted in Concord, New Hampshire.

YSCV Membership/Making a Contribution

The Youth Safety Council of Vermont is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt charitable organization and donations are deductible to the extent provided by law. 

We encourage both charitable donations in support of our mission, as well as the support of Members who share our belief in promoting youth safety programs. Membership form. Donations can be made to YSCV and sent to Fletcher Brush, c/o Youth Safety Council of Vermont, P.O. The Council is currently undergoing a Membership Drive to help with expenses and to create an awareness of the organization. Help spread the word and to encourage support for the Council’s initiative to reduce teen crashes. Please read our fundraising letter.
